Ali Asghar has been sentenced after sending indecent images to a 13 year old girl and travelling 300 miles to meet her.
Asghar, 20, from Aberdeen, communicated with the teen via social media and sent indecent images and videos of himself to her and forced her to reciprocate by sending images.
Ashgar travelled from Aberdeen to York in December 2023 to meet the victim despite being aware of her age.
He was charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child, causing or inciting a child to watch an act of sexual activity, causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and meeting a child following sexual grooming.
He pled guilty and has been sentenced to 5 years.
