Mr Carson of Dunoon has received a four year jail term for pleading guilty to offences under theExplosive Substances Act. The man also accepted that he was in possession of an air rifle without a Firearms licence at the High Court in Glasgow. Lady Stacey stated while sentencing Mr Carson: “These are serious matters” However, she contained “There is an absence of any information about connections to any criminal enterprise. However, these items are dangerous and even if you didn’t intend to use them, other people could get to them.” The explanation given by Mr Carson through his defence agent was that he was preparing for the Zombie apocalypse and confirmed to the court he did not intend to harm anyone.
