Mr Davidson, 37, has pled guilty to attempted murder at the High Court in Glasgow. The accused was charged with other charges which not guilty pleas were accepted from the Crown. Mr Davidson attacked a Police Officer in Fife. Mr Davidson was drunk and ran at the officer before stabbing him in June of this year. The Police Officer was assisting the man after calls of a disturbance. The Police Officer believed it may have been a pen before realising he had to fight for his life the Advocate for the Crown has stated in court. The Police officer was attended to in hospital and discharged with stitches. Mr Davidson’s legal team told that court he suffered with anxiety and was using drinking heavily to cope. The Judge deferred sentence for Criminal Justice Social Work Reports to be prepared before sentencing.
