Within the past 12 months police have managed to seize millions of pounds worth of drugs across Fife.
Over the last year £8 million worth of drugs have been recovered according to the police including cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
Between May 2022 and 2023 it was found that police officers executed over 180 seizes throughout Fife in order to dismantle and detect those involved in the drugs trade.
Detective Chief Inspector Scott Davidson explained that the figures clearly display the continuing efforts and progress made by the police in order to remove drugs from the street. He noted that the police are committed in order to dislocate organised criminality in all forms.
