A trial of the murder of Ms Johnstone continues in the High Court in Livingston this week. Jordan Johnstone and his girlfriend Angela Newlands deny murdering the 22 year old woman in May of last year. Mr Johnstone is the brother of the victim. A friend of the victim has stated the accused both gave confusing accounts of the last hours before the victim’s death.
A friend was asked by Ms Johnstone to watch her dog for a short period and when she did not return to collect the dog this was out of character and she was concerned. The witness had told an account of the very confused story told by the co accused to her when examined by their defence counsel.  The trial continues next week.
