James Murray, 58, and Connor Murray, 29, were sentenced to prison for firearm and drug offenses at the High Court in Glasgow on 6 September 2024.
The two men were arrested in March 2024 after a police search of a property and vehicle on Greenock Road in Bishopton, Glasgow. During the search, officers seized cocaine worth around £149,000, a large sum of cash, and a firearm.
James Murray received a four-year sentence, while Connor Murray was sentenced to six years. Detective Inspector Gordon Smith highlighted that the seizure had disrupted the illegal drug trade and removed a dangerous weapon from the streets.
