Three men from North Lanarkshire have to face trial over an alleged acid attack. The three men have pled not guilty to attacking three men and a woman with acid in October of last year in a Cumbernauld home. Prosecutors claim “acid or a similar corrosive liquid” was thrown at the four adults. They have all been charged with assault to their severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of their life.
The men are also charged with drugs offences related to the said crime. Lady Stacey set a trial to commence at Glasgow High Court in February and all three men were bailed.
