A 37-year-old man is being treated for facial wounds after being shot in the face while driving his car in Glasgow city centre.

The incident happened at about 00:10 on Craighall Road.
Medical staff describe the victim’s condition as stable.
The eastbound slip road to junction 16 of the M8 has been closed while police carry out investigations, and local diversions are in place.
Drivers were being advised to follow a signed diversion route through Dobbie’s Loan and Kyle St to rejoin the motorway at 15 Townhead.
Commuters were warned to expect longer-than-normal journey times in and around the Port Dundas and Cowcaddens area.
