Three men from Glasgow, John Bonner, Christopher Laycock, and David Kelly, were sentenced for their roles in a major drug trafficking operation.
The gang smuggled large quantities of cocaine and heroin into Scotland hidden inside fake solar panel generators, using a shell company to make their activities appear legitimate.
Bonner, 38, and Kelly, 42, were both jailed for five years and 10 months, while Laycock, 52, received a sentence of six years and nine months.
The men’s activities were part of a broader organized crime network investigated by Operation Buggy and Operation Escalade, linked to notorious crime bosses James White and Paul Fleming.
Police surveillance and messages from the EncroChat platform helped expose the operation, which involved transporting drug money across the UK.
In addition to their prison sentences, the men are subject to serious crime prevention orders and confiscation under proceeds of crime legislation.
