Colin Lindsay, 22 and Kevin Tully, 31, have been jailed at the High Court in Glasgow for robbery after threatening a heavily pregnant woman and her partner and also terrorising an elderly couple in their homes. Both couples were threatened with knifes and a woman was struck on the head with a blunt object by the two men.
Mr Lindsay was sentenced to ten and a half years and Mr Tully nine years after pleading guilty to the charges. Both couples were robbed on the 11th and 12th of February 2018 consecutively. Lord Mulholland stated in sentencing the two co-accused: “This court takes a very serious view of your conduct. Members of the public should not have their homes invaded in this way. These were terrifying ordeals.”
